My Bio

I’ve always had a special love of dressing up and pretending to be different characters with costumes. This is probably what sparked my interest in cosplay. I’m especially fond of clothing of the Elizabethan period and dedicate much time to producing historical garments for renaissance festivals. I have been fortunate enough to cultivate and share my passion for costumes and sewing through my involvement in theatre. What started as a hobby soon became a career aspiration. I earned a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University in costuming through the individualized studies program and an M.F.A. in costume design from Wayne State University. I look forward to seeing where my design and sewing journey leads me.
